The Dawgs Project

The Dawgs Project's mission is to educate the public on the benefits that dogs provide in the emotional support of veterans and children. To support active duty service members, veterans, children, and K9s through morale-building/educational activities and events. To provide grants to Veterans and children in need of a dog for emotional support. Support other non-profit organizations with similar missions.

US War Dogs Association

Throughout the years, USWDA established new programs to fill in gaps of much-needed support to the K-9 community, and it was typically initiated from a conversation with current dog handlers. The shared bond between a nonprofit run by dog handlers and the dog handlers currently serving was instrumental in the growth and development of USWDA.

Project K9 Hero

At Project K-9 Hero, we are grateful for the service of our nation's Police K-9s and Military Working Dogs and want to honor them in retirement. It is our purpose to assist with medical costs, rehabilitation, rehoming, food, and end-of-duty services to ensure their best quality of life and give them the retirements they deserve. There are no public funds for these Heroes, and we rely on donors like you to support our project. Together, we can help care for our nation's retired K-9 Heroes by "Protecting Those Who Protected Us" for generations to come.
